About us

Our aim is to broaden access to psychoanalytically oriented treatment and support the understanding of psychoanalysis

The Foundation funds a service offering psychoanalytic consultations and referrals to patients who otherwise might not be able to access this treatment. To help build the capacity to provide psychoanalytic treatment, we fund scholarships for people to participate in the outreach and educational programs of the Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide Institutes associated with APAS. We also support relevant academic and clinical research.
